This Ranunculus collection could be nothing short of beautiful, delicate, and refined. The mixed-color blooms are incredibly easy to grow, long-lasting as cut flowers, and positively breathtaking—what's not to love? So, are you ready to plant a romantic and charming haven of pastel colors in your garden?

Grown at the famous Carlsbad Flower Fields, our Ranunculus bulbs are hardy outdoors in zones 8-11 (for fall planting) but are more than welcome in gardens of cooler regions. In zones 3-7, simply purchase bulbs and keep them in a cool (but not freezing), dry spot, and plant outside in April or May in containers or the garden for a gorgeous spring display. Enjoy!

ranunculus

Here in zone 6 I am starting my runuculus corms inside in a cool basement under grow lights - it's so exciting to see the little shoots popping up. I'm hoping to get them in the ground early enough to have a nice bloom come late spring.

Largest bulbs I have found

This is the second year I have grown these, and the claws were very healthy and huge. Just to help others, I want to outline how I have grown these in zone 7. Last year I planted them in late winter/early spring, and they produced fairly small flowers. So this year I started them in October, and they had nice healthy foliage before the first frost. I planted these and several of the Italian ranucs offered here, covering them with a layer of agribon-30. This winter was much harsher than last, and I lost all of the Italian ranucs I planted but these have done well so far with some protection. I expect to have larger flowers this spring over a longer blooming period. I will definitely buy these again and re-plant in the fall with protection in my zone. Also, I have had great service and fast shipping from EasytoGrowBulbs.
