This stately and elegant introduction has quickly become my very favorite of all Hippeastrums I have (and I have a lot!). Lemon Lime is a perfectly fitting name for the coloration and stunning larger than life appearance. This is a true antique yellow tone, and the throat has the cheery lime color which it's named for. What a mind-blowing beauty she is. The coloration looks like something from an antique Victorian-era painting. Prominently regal, as it's a very tall-standing, heavy blooming variety. There is a pearlescence to the petals that does not come through in pictures. The flare trumpets out just like an Easter Lily, but of course this is much larger, with a wider open petal stretching 6" across or more. The foliage grows beautifully, with a slightly lighter green than some other varieties, which also easily sets it apart.
The fragrance, though subtle, will waft up to 6 feet away when in full bloom, reminiscent of Cashmere Bouquet.
If there's one Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) every fan needs in their collection, it's Lemon Lime.. It will WOW you.

I was amazed at how quickly my bulbs came and they are huge. Very healthy looking. I won't know for a while if they appear as photo but am most confident they will. I will definitely buy from this site again. I already have my list!
