Sometimes amaryllis blooms grow so big they need support to avoid falling over. This is especially true for the full double flowering types and for the extra large flowers produced by big bulbs (like ours!) Avoid disappointment for yourself and for your giftees with these elegant copper-colored support stakes. The stakes are 15" tall and come three per package. Just poke a stake into the soil and slip the top loop around the flower stalk. Voila!

None of my plants have tipped over this year!

These are the best! Every year I try staking up my plants with chop sticks, rulers or something, but if never works. These work perfectly as long as you put them on before the plant blooms. You can bend the loop at bit to get it to fit. You also need to have a fairly deep pot so they stand up.

You really need this if you grow an amaryllis!

I bought these stakes to support a very tall Red Lion amaryllis plant that was drooping. They are attractive and support the heavy stalk. It is important to place the stake on the plant BEFORE the plant blooms; otherwise the stake will not go over the large bloom. Since my plant was in full bloom I could not use it. I did make sure I placed the stakes on the other plants when they reached a height of about five inches. This worked beautifully. I wish I had bought another set since I gave one of mine away. Makes a great gift.
