Erythronium Corms for Sale | Pagoda (Dog Tooth Violet)

Like sprinkles of sunshine made tangible, Erythronium Pagoda lights up shady or woodland garden areas. These darker spaces tend to be overlooked and can get a little wild, but what better way to breathe in some new life than with cheerful yellow flowers?! This Dog Tooth Violet produces oval pointed leaves with bronze, trout-like mottling in early spring, followed closely by elfin-cap flowers that bloom for several weeks.

Pagoda is touted as a hybrid variety with larger, more abundant blossoms and enhanced vigor. Not to mention, the plants mysteriously vanish until the next growing season after the flowers fade, leaving room for bushy summer perennials to thrive. Unbothered by the likes of deer or rodents, these charmers make lovely partners for small to medium-sized Hostas. Enjoy!

Gorgeous plants!

These plants are producing a number of bold yellow blooms on long stems with wide leaves. It is a delightful surprise in my shade garden (with dappled sunlight), and the first year besides. Unfortunately, I've have to cage them from the deer.

Lovely Trout Lily (dog tooth violet)

I love these when they bloom in the spring! This kind is grows in clumps rather than spreading over a large area. The ONLY downside to this pretty yellow trout lily is deer love it too. Deer spray does the trick.
