Named after the legend of a Dutch-American villager who fell into a 20-year slumber, we believe the brilliant yellow blooms of Narcissus Rip Van Winkle are more than enough to jolt someone awake. Flaunting a unique "sparkler" form, these deep yellow spiky puffs are very different from anything else in the garden.
Growing 8 to 12" in mid-spring, Rip Van Winkle is a merry little fellow for the front of borders or containers, where an underplanting of Chionodoxa creates the perfect pairing. Plus, they're super easy to grow and virtually ignored by deer and rodents. Enjoy!
