Tecolote Ranunculus Pastel Mix Bulbs For Sale

We love this mix of heavenly pastels and white! A soft, beautiful ranunculus collection of colors that will have you falling in love. They're gorgeous in the garden, but possibly even prettier in a vase, so plant plenty so you have some to cut!

Grown at the famous Carlsbad Flower Fields, these ranunculus bulbs are hardy outdoors in zones 8-11 (for fall planting) but are more than welcome in gardens of cooler regions. In zones 3-7, plant outside in April or May in containers or the garden for a seriously impressive display.

Tender bulbs that pack a punch

I've planted these a couple of years in a row now, and I buy more every year. Not all of them grow (maybe about 80% grow with spring planting here in zone 6B), but they are full of flowers for at least a month, with plenty for picking, too. The bulbs are easy to store when they first die back in July, and get bigger each year. I plant as early as I think possible, and each year I discover I can go a little earlier. I started planting May 1, but that gave just a few weeks of cool weather, and they do like it cool. Last year I planted early April, and they flowered and grew much better. This year I planted in mid-February, and the plants are up and will be starting to flower by May 1, and will probably go all the way to the middle of June. A definite addition to my springtime garde.

Gorgeous!

We got one pack of ten bulbs and I am going to order at least two more packs, because these ranunculas are amazing. Some of the flowers have grown almost as high as our 3-foot fence, and the colors are lovely. They are the perfect backdrop to my bulb garden!

Bulbs look good, time will tell

I wish there were more reviews on this site... One recommendation, email a reminder to review 6 months after delivery to see how things are growing. Like I said, the bulbs arrived in good condition, from what I know. It is not yet cool enough for me to put them in the ground. Will wait 2ish weeks. Hoping they at least look something like the picture, those are heavenly looking!
