From the tropical warmth of India and South Africa, the name Gloriosa Lily means “full of glory,” an appropriate moniker for such show-stopping exotic flowers. In favorable conditions, these tender perennials form clumps and spread several feet in a single season. The lightweight vines don’t require sturdy supports, either.
Excellent as perennials in zones 9-11, gloriosas also thrive during the winter in sunny rooms indoors, provided they have enough room to vine. Our exclusive Party Streamers gloriosa mix is an ideal selection of 3 bulbs chosen from Rothschildiana (red and yellow) and Greenii (green to soft white).
