A fitting name for an exquisitely specific flower color that's hard to come by - Mistral Plus Rarity is a dreamy variety perfect for bringing a touch of sweetness and sparkle to any space. As with other Italian Anemones, this charmer has been mindfully bred for success in both garden beds and patio pots, with earlier and more prolific blooms.

These abundant plants produce tall, graceful stems excellent for cutting, which we love because the flowers stay beautiful for up to 2 weeks in a vase! Oh, and if you need more incentive to bring these dawn-tinted Anemones inside - snipping the blossoms will encourage more buds and even longer stems. Enjoy!

Wow!

Italian anemones are amongst my all-time favorites and Rarity did not disappoint. This variety had a higher success rate than my other anemone corms from ETG. The flower stalks are hearty and tall, making for excellent cut flowers and Rarity stays looking so beautiful for much longer than I expected. I find myself admiring the beauty of this flower every time I see a new one emerge.

Astounding cut flower

One of these ended up in my order of 'Shocking' last year, and it was the best mistake ever made -- I fell in love. These blooms remind me of antique china that has that pastel-opalescent glaze, it's impossible to describe them as having one color; planted near the sidewalk, it literally stopped people in their tracks, and were just as enchanting in the vase.
Well-mulched in a sheltered location, the 'Mistral' series grows well in my 6a garden when planted in fall, I do hit them with a layer of remay when the temps decide to stay below 28 for more than a day or two.

This is my top fav anemone besides pandora doppio & the black & white. The flowers are big & gorgeous! An absolute must grow!! :)
