Tecolote Ranunculus Purple Bulbs For Sale | Purple Ranunculus

Medieval kings and queens chose this color as their own; it's clear why. This shade is undeniably regal, with a depth reminiscent of luxurious velvet robes. Most of us won't ever own a castle, but for aspiring nobility here is an affordable bit of easy opulence.

This purple shade is dynamite when combined with orange! Mix some purples with pastel ranunculus for a softer, equally gorgeous look.

Grown at the famous Carlsbad Flower Fields, these ranunculus bulbs are hardy outdoors in zones 8-11 (for fall planting) but are more than welcome in gardens of cooler regions. In zones 3-7, simply purchase bulbs and keep them in a cool (but not freezing), dry spot until and plant outside in April or May in containers or the garden for a seriously impressive display. If you're a cooler region gardener, we guarantee you'll be the only ones with these flowers and you can let your neighbors know they're missing out!

Burgundy Wine Color More Accurate

This ranunculus came in great condition and I planted the corms in the fall. They started blooming in early spring and all the plants are prolific bloomers and very healthy. These were the first of the ranunculus to bloom and the flowers and beautiful. The reason why I'm giving in 4 instead of 5 stars is because the color is more of a deep burgundy almost wine color than a dark purple.
