I have always loved the beauty of Hyacinthoides, or Spanish Bluebells. They are among the most beautiful of hardy Spring blooming bulbs, and look fabulous when planted in large drifts or colonies. We had hundreds of them growing in our gardens when we lived in Seattle, many years ago. We now live in Minnesota, where the climate is much different. I realised that I was really missing the beauty of these bulbs during our Spring season here in Minnesota, and luckily found a great source for these hardy bulbs at Easy To Grow Bulbs. We planted around a hundred Hyacinthoides of various colours in our Birch grove this Fall, and we are looking forward to Spring, when they will bloom and fill our Birch grove with their subtle beauty.
