Crocus Sativus is positively ravishing with creamy lilac flowers featuring dark purple veining and red stamens that contrast beautifully against the glorious orange anthers. The blossoms are born amidst attractive grass-like foliage of slender, dark green leaves with a skinny central silver stripe.

Like many other Crocuses, it is perfect for naturalizing and looks spectacular in vast, sweeping masses. Alternatively, it can also be grown in pots or containers for an up-close look at the delicate blooms. The dried stamen of Crocus Sativus, or Saffron, is a deep red spice used to flavor various ethnic dishes. Great sized corms

These corms came in great shape with some already sprouting. Got them in the ground right away and it appears they all came up but no flowers this year. Can't wait until next fall to harvest some saffron.

These were all coming up, until some critter decided to have a crocus buffet.
Make sure you protect them. Next time I will have them covered with a greenhouse cover in my raised beds.

Well they came in great shape we got them 8n the ground we had more than 30 cause of daughter buds so we ended up with 40 instead of 30. I don't mind that at all. Now the waot till next fall.

Excellent bulbs!

I've order saffron crocus bulbs from several places over the years. These bulbs are the biggest and best I've seen yet!
