Pure White Reblooming Bearded Iris Immortality (Fragrant)

One of the best reblooming white bearded irises for cold climates, Immortality thrives and reblooms in full sun in cooler zones but will require some filtered afternoon shade when growing in warmer areas. Its dainty pure white, almost translucent, petals have been a garden staple for decades but are easily at home in the modern garden. Immortality is an excellent contrasting Iris for dark petal bloomers.

All Iris from Easy to Grow Bulbs get their start at our multi-generational family farm in California. Harsh sun and low water in the fields create extremely tough growing conditions, which produce hardy, drought-tolerant plants.

Happy

Received as expected. One was teeny tiny, the rest are healthy. Will have to wait to see how they bloom.

Newly planted and has 4 healthy fans

Just planted this February and already has sprouted 4 fans, almost 6-7 inches tall!

Hoping for blooms in fall!

Thank you for the review!

The backbone of my Iris garden!

I love classic white, but it's not always easy to find white that's.not just boring. It's also not easy to find anything that will endure the kind of summers we cow get in Southern California. Immortality does both! She grows strongly with big beautiful of blooms just when you need them -- like a gray drizzly day. They need very little water, a godsend in this drought-tolerant state. And maintenance? I suppose there is some, but none is coming to mind... ;-) The only downside is that ETGW's Iris rhizomes used to be these massive clumps and are increasingly smaller and drier. Bring back the huge clumps! and you'll have TONS of lifelong customers :-)
